In the middle of Kadiköy, in the Asian part of Istanbul, a piece of the GDR is making its rounds. Tram 3 is a Gotha car from Jena. When the old GDR trams were no longer needed there, they were scrapped or sold. A Gotha T57 now runs the 2.6-kilometer route between Kadiköy and Moda.
