Description
Tram Berlin Köpenick-Schöneweide 1996 Depot + Schloßplatz Köpenick.
The farewell to the GDR's standard trams in Berlin...everything was well organized back then. I was only eight then, but I was still fully involved. Back then, they tried to give the vehicles a dignified farewell. And by bringing along the future museum cars (including those no longer in service, including the TDE type and the BE trailer), you could experience all sorts of train combinations again that day.
It's sad to consider how many Reko TE trams there once were in Berlin (and the rest of the GDR). Today, there's only one Reko train left in the country preserved as a museum piece, and that's the one you see at 9:53 at Köpenick Palace Square.
