Description
The five-section two-way and one-way ForCity Plus trams are manufactured by the Škoda Transportation company for the Slovak metropolis Bratislava. Their concept is based on the modern ForCity Classic trams, which are intended for the Hungarian city of Miskolc. These are low-floor vehicles equipped with modern electronics. The trams can accommodate approximately 350 passengers.
In particular, the vehicles offer enough space for passengers, suitable placement of restraint systems and also very quiet operation. The trams are fully air-conditioned, including the driver's cabin. There is a folding platform for passengers with reduced mobility, which makes it easier for them to get on and off. The vehicle also has a device for voice communication between blind passengers and the driver. A clear audiovisual, information and camera system is also a matter of course.'
