Description

The Strausberger Railway, until 1920 Strausberger Kleinbahn, is the name of a streetcar enterprise located east of Berlin in the Brandenburg region of Märkisch-Oderland. At the same time, this is also the current name of the transport company operating the railway, the Strausberger Eisenbahn GmbH (STE). As line 89, the tram connects the town centre of Strausberg with the peripherally located Strausberg station on the Prussian Eastern Railway. There is a connection from there to line S5 of the Berlin S-Bahn and to the regional train line RB26, which is currently operated by the Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn.
