On May 27th and 28th, the annual tram festival took place on the Bergische Museum Railway at Pentecost. A total of four of the five passenger trams were sent on the route, with the fifth being moved to the depot at the end.
The following railcars were in use:
- 94, formerly Barmer Bergbahn,
- 105 (only in the Btf), formerly Bergische Kleinbahnen AG Elberfeld,
- 107, formerly Rheinische Bahngesellschaft Düsseldorf,
- 275, formerly Bochum-Gelsenkirchener-Straßenbahnen AG and
- 337, formerly Hagener Straßenbahn AG.
The route is a former section of line 5, which used to run from Wuppertal to Solingen. Today only the section Kohlfurter Brücke - Greuel is used.
There were also model tram trains on display.
