Postcard: Trondheim tram line 3 with railcar 22 at Jernbanen (1965)The tramway's terminus for line 3 at the railway station in 1965.
The new trams that were delivered after the tramway fire in 1956 were still two-man operated, and had an entrance at the back. In the autumn of 1968, the Singsaker-Jernbanen was closed down as a tramway line.

Trondheim Tram Museum (2020)I've always had a soft spot for old trams. There's something beautiful about the vintage carriages: the sounds, the lights, and the smell. We were incredibly lucky to film some of the old trams and hear the story of how they were rescued from being scrapped. If you are in Trondheim, be sure to visit the Tram Museum and support them. The work they do is invaluable, and it helps preserve a piece of tramway history.By In Real - .
