Postcard: Gothenburg railcar 43 on Härlandavägen (1980)Motorcar 43 was built in 1902 by ASEA for Göteborgs Spårvägar, sold in 1925 to Jönköping but returned to Gothenburg in 1959. In 1979-83 it was renovated by the Ringlinien Tramway Association to the design it received in 1916.
The history of the tramway in Gothenburg is documented by the Ringlinien Tramway Association, which also preserves and operates historic trams during the summer.
At the local traffic museum in Malmköping in Södermanland, museum trams from several former Swedish tramway cities are also displayed and operated.
