The 13-year-old who had already ridden the tram in over 50 cities and knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. Now that day has arrived. How does the first day feel so far? It's absolutely incredible—it's a childhood dream come true. I've been riding here for three or four years, standing right next to the driver and watching how it operates. Now, you're sitting here yourself, steering the tram. So, there's a lot of nostalgia. When you saw the tram as a kid, you thought it was something different. Back then, modern trams, buses, and subways didn't attract me as much because they felt so normal, unlike the original tram. I still think they are. I also love the Nordic Museum, Vasa Museum, and Junibacken. How much practice have you had saying those correctly? I haven't practiced much. It's like a child's bone, I think—almost. I used to imitate it when I was little, like taking a coffee grinder at home and cranking it on the kitchen table, and then the announcement would be made automatically. Henrik drives vintage trams on the Djurgårdslinjen and believes they will remain for a long time, as long as someone is driving them.
