Trams in Gent, Belgium (2011)Trams in Ghent (Gent, Gand), Belgium (België, Belgique, Belgien) in the old city center, 4 May 2011, PCC cars & 'Hermelijnen'. The trolleybus (line 3) has disappeared, new tracks at Korenmarkt/Cataloniëstraat where the old cobblestones disappeared, and complicated trackwork in one big concrete slab was installed in Spring 2011. It is not a beautiful sight in this historic city but safer for pedestrians. We start in Evergem, following pictures at Ketelvest and continue to Veldstraat, Korenmarkt, Korte Munt, Kleine Vismarkt, Rekelingestraat, Gravensteen, Geldmunt, Burgstraat, the final shots are at Evergem again. The videos/photos were made with a 'Canon Ixus 55' camera during a visit to Ghent, Belgium, on May 4th, 2011.By tramways1435 - .

Now that's nostalgia! Those old trams, those cars from that time, too. The Veldstraat and the Korenmarkt were not yet traffic-free; it's good to see that again.
