It runs at a voltage of 600V, and the track width is 1435mm (standard gauge). The route network consists of 24 lines, with seven additional lines. In 2011, 393 million passengers used the tram to travel through Budapest. The following types are currently in operation: - CSM6 (1967-1978). - T5C5 (1980-1984). - TW6000 (1974-1993), taken over from Hanover in 2002. - Comino (2006-2007). Particularly in urban areas, the persistent service, sometimes available every 3 minutes, is remarkable.By Strassenbahnfreak - .
Budapest Tram - Line 1 (2012)

Budapest Tram - Line 1 (2012)The Budapest tram line 1 runs between Vörösvári út and Közvágóhíd. During rush hour, additional trams on line 1A operate on a shorter route between Közvágóhíd and Üllői út. This line was built as a rapid tram line, so many stops have wide stations, and most of the time, the line doesn´t interfere with road traffic. However, as you can see, most of the time, fast roads surround it, and the noise of cars is always present. But I think it is still an interesting tram line to see. This line is served by triple-traction Tatra T5C5 trams. Also recorded was a track watering truck. This video shows the state as it was in 2012. The line was later extended, and the stations were renovated. Additionally, it is now primarily served by the new CAF Urbos low-floor trams, with some Tatra trams still in use for weekday service.By Klingl3r - .
Budapest tram: The type DUEWAG Tw6000 ex-Hannover (2010)

Budapest tram: The type DUEWAG Tw6000 ex-Hannover (2010)The tram type Tw6000 was build from 1974 on for the light rail/metro tram system of Hannover. The first series(100 cars) came from DUEWAG, the later ones from LHB in lower saxony. After the EXPO 2000 the ÜSTRA(local transport company of Hannover) offered the first series for sale because they got enough of the new type Tw2000 for service. The BKV Budapest was interested in a not so pricey but good second hand tram type for their network so they bought most cars of the first series, some of the for getting spare parts. In Budapest they got the new numbers 1500-1575(the old numbers are still inside the trams). They got a new livery in orange, the doors got a closing signal and the door closing automatik was disabled. Although the trams can be used in traction they only operate as single trams in passenger service. Länge / length: 28,28 m. Breite / width: 2,4 m. Höhe / heigth: 3,3 m. Leistung / power: 2x217 kw. Fahrgastkapazität / passenger capacity: 46 Sitzplätze / seats, 104 Stehplätze / standing. Please note! I don't have more footage from Budapest or Hungary. Please don't subscribe if you expect more videos from Budapest because unfortunately I don't have anymore. Thanks.By Klingl3r - .
