Munich: Avenio T2/ T4 First day of operation - Two-parter on line 12 (2018)For skippers: trip from (Leonrodpl.-Babarastr.) from 3:17. From 6:03 the quarter. From 9:09 the new (updated) messages. INFO: Presented the day before in the depot during test drives and vehicle parade - a day later finally in passenger service. But there's something fishy here, isn't there? Of course, because by design the two-piece suits were never meant to be worn individually. 9 two-part and 9 three-part Avenios were ordered, which were only to be used in double-haul on line 20. This is unfortunately made difficult by our technical supervisory authority (again and again) because the three-part vehicles (T3.7) have not yet been approved for test driving. The approval for possible towing of both two-part vehicles is sought earlier than the approval of the three-part vehicles. Four four-piece trains (T4.7) were also delivered in this delivery batch, all four of which celebrated their first use on line 19 on Monday. Compared to the 8 Avenios (T1.6) of the first series, it was possible to implement additional fine-tuning for the MVG. A new front design was necessary to be able to integrate the clutch well.
Five courses of these two-part trains are now used on line 12, because the passenger volume is more manageable than on other lines. Another option would have been to convert the section into a bus connection, as there is a lack of vehicles.
Of course, I've also integrated a few scenes into this video from the four-part series, the new announcements and the Avenio T1.6. I am very happy to hear your suggestions and your opinion.
I apologize profusely for wind noise and "camera shake." The weather conditions were not good either.By trams_trains - .
Munich Tram - P-car on line 27 to Scheidplatz (2012)At the time of the recording, the P-car is the oldest vehicle type in the MVG tram fleet still in regular service. At this time, the vehicles are still in use on lines 17 and 27. The film shows the P3 railcar 2021 and the P3 trailer 3005 on their journey on line 27 at various points. Car 2021 was used for the last time on the day of the recording due to a deadline. At the time of the recording, line 27 was taking a diversion from Kurfürstenplatz to Scheidplatz. In addition to the cars mentioned, car 2006 with trailer 3014 also passed briefly at Sendlinger Tor, which was on a special trip. Newer type R vehicles in various designs, along with an old bus, can also be seen. The film ends with a short ride in the trailer car 3005.
