The Capital City Light Rail is inaugurated (2025)On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the Capital City Light Rail was inaugurated at 10:30 a.m. The inauguration train started in Ishøj, where the mayor gave a speech and then cut the ribbon. The inauguration train then continued to Rødovre Nord, where ribbons were also cut by the various mayors on the route. The Capital City Light Rail extends from Ishøj in the south and has so far been opened to Rødovre Nord. The rest of the route towards Lundtofte will not open until the summer of next year. Visit to Glostrup Ejby Station (2021)Glostrup Ejby Station is the first station of a total of 29 light rail stations to be completed. The station is an experimental model for how the rest of the stations should be designed.
