You can hop off at any time to enjoy a meal and then continue on to the next culinary delight. No matter where you get on and off, we wish you a pleasant journey and bon appétit! *** "Cooking is the wisdom of Medea, Circe, Calypso, Helen, Rebecca, and the Queen of Sheba. Cooking requires knowledge of all herbs and fruits, of balsam and spices, of everything that is wholesome and tasty in field and grove. It means the thrift of your great-grandmother and the science of modern chemists; it means fine tasting and no waste, French artistry and Arab hospitality." -Ruskin-By Henrik Boye, Museumsgastronomie Dresden 1900 - .

With constant groans, we behead a handful of innocent leeks, which we sauté in a pot with the insides of hand-crushed carrots, and then drown in cold water, making sure not to forget to add plenty of salt to the still-open wounds. Now we peel the skins off the still-virgin potatoes and then slowly crush them. While we let the whole thing simmer naked on glowing coals, we help ourselves to the garnish: We snatch the unsuspecting sausages from behind and throw them into the pan. ... Back to our Saxon delicacy... After simmering gently, we let our delicacy, along with the last survivors of our marjoram massacre, briefly scream over a large flame. We scare it to death with a pinch of pepper, a dash of Maggi seasoning, and a small barrel of wine for the final rites. Finally, we give everything a good thrashing and then into the soup tub. Enjoy!By Henrik Boye, Museumsgastronomie Dresden 1900 - .
