Le Tramway de Grenoble - The Tramway of Grenoble (2011)

Le Tramway de Grenoble - The Tramway of Grenoble (2011)Grenoble, the capital of nuts, is a town in the French Alps. This film is about the tram system, but also describes special districts, sights, and cultural highlights beyond the tramway. Leave the annotations turned on. The film documents all four lines; you can jump directly to them to view specific content. The selection overview is at 00:27. (Click on the desired line there.) The footage was shot during an internship abroad; I was working at a chocolatier :D Otherwise, there's not much to say; most of the information is included at the appropriate point in the video. I hope you enjoy it. ;)By VeryGoodFeeling - .
Grenoble Trams / Tramways (2011)
6:45
Grenoble Trams / Tramways (2011)Grenoble's old tramway closed in 1952. A new modern tramway opened in stages from 1987 onwards. Currently, four overlapping lines operate as a street-level light rail system. The tramway is almost exclusively a private right-of-way, with some attractive tram and pedestrian-only streets and squares in the city centre. The cars are an Alstom-Francorail TFS (Tramway Français Standard) of 1987 design and a Grenoble version of the highly successful Alstom Citadis from 2005. The system is standard gauge (1435 mm / 4'8 ½") 750V DC.By michaelinlondon Belfast - .
