The new trams that were delivered after the tramway fire in 1956 were still two-man operated, and had an entrance at the back. In the autumn of 1968, the Singsaker-Jernbanen was closed down as a tramway line.

The Sigsagerlinjen - line 3 was built in 1927 to Ankers gt. Later extended to Asbjørnsen gt. in 1935 and in 1955 in a loop around Rosenborg. Car 47 passes the new Elgeseter bridge in 1951. The new bridge with 6 lanes was built for future traffic, and financed with Sporveien's own profits.
