Tramways of Belo Horizonte

Language: Bulgarian, English, Estonian, Romanian, Russian.

"Minas Gerais, Brazil's fourth-largest state, larger than France, is landlocked and has experienced slow industrial growth due to the scarcity of navigable rivers. The arrival of railroads in the 19th century boosted its wealth through gold, diamonds, and iron. By the early 20th century, it was the most populous state, with Belo Horizonte as the second-largest inland capital after São Paulo. The state had 18 tram systems, mostly electric."
