"In 2011 it was 100 years since the first electric tram in Arnhem ran. On 25 May 1911 the Gemeente Electrische Tram Arnhem (GETA) opened the tram line from the Oranjestraat in Arnhem to Velp. There is no direct access to Oosterbeek, because this road was used by the track of the Oosterstoomtram. The electrification of this section of the line was not ready in time."
