The trams reach a maximum speed of 50 mph (80 km/h), and they are only slowest on on-street and curved sections, making the system relatively quick overall. I agree that trains are much faster, although I personally love trams too—especially those with reserved, faster lines and on-street sections.By LeifSpangberg - .
