Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 5 at Brønshøj (1996)I årene fra 1. oktober 1931 til 30. april 1936 kørte linje 7 til Brønshøj i vinterhalvåret fra kl. 16-18, og igen fra 1. november 1954 til den 17. oktober 1965, hvor linjen afkortes til Nørrebro men forlænges til Husum kl. 7-9 og 15-18. Den 25. april 1971 overgår linjen til dieselbusdrift.

I årene fra 1931 til 1936 blev hveranden linje 7 i vinterhalvåret forlænget til Brønshøj i eftermiddagsmyldretiden. Fra 1. november 1954 forlængedes den igen til Brønshøj i eftermiddagsmyldretiden og senere, fra den 17. oktober 1965, kørte den helt til Husum i myldretiden morgen og aften.

Allerede i årene 1931-1936 førtes linje 7 til Brønshøj Torv i aftenmylderetiden om vinteren Linje 7 blev kaldt "Teatervognen" på grund af endestationen på Kongens Nytorv. Med sin korte linjestrækning skulle den være særlig tiltrækkende blandt ældre sporvejsfolk, hvorfor den fik tilnavnet "Aldersrentevognen" og "Gammelmandslinjen".

Lundings elegante kombination af perron- og midterindgangsvogne vakte stor beundring blandt sagkyndige. Senere blev vognene ombygget til fast konduktør og den oprindelige elegance gik tabt. Linje 7 blev omstillet til busdrift den 25. april 1971.

Railcar no. 308, built by Scandia in 1911, is one of a series of carriages designed by architect Knud V. Engelhardt. Railcar no. 3060 is a test carriage that was on loan from Hamburg.
