Bremen Central + track construction information in the Gleisdreieck Osterstraße (2021)Bremer Straßenbahn AG announces track construction on Osterstraße from March 15 to April 25, 2021. The switches and tracks at the junction from Osterstraße to Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, as well as the Wilhelm-Kaisen Bridge, need replacement. The so-called Gleisdreieck (triangle of tracks), which has been in operation for 20 years and is served by tram lines 4, 6, 8, and N4, has become worn. Approximately 420 meters of track will be replaced. Since most work occurs during tram service, lines four and N4 can run on their usual routes, except on weekends.
