Copenhagen railcar 450, manufacturer Københavns Sporveje (KS), type Scrapmotorvogn, series 447-490, width 2.15 m, length 10.40 m, manufactured 1942-1947, with 22 seats and 26 standing places, 2 axles, signed Brønshøj.

Line 11 was a child of World War II. It was established on April 22, 1944 with a route from Brønshøj Torv to Kongens Enghave. Right from the start, the newly built "scrap cars" were used on the line, but later it lost its importance and was only operated with old equipment. The line was closed on July 21, 1958. Because of the green and blue line colors, it was nicknamed "Undulaten".

Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 11 at Brønshøj (1995)One of the newly introduced "scrap trains" on line 11 was established on 22 April 1944 with a route between Brønshøj and Kg. Enghave. On 29 November 1945 the line was extended to Husum, and on 16 October 1953 it was rerouted to Godthåbsvej. Line 11 was closed on 21 July 1958. Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 11 with railcar 311 (1993)Architect Knud Valdemar Engelhardt designed this type of motor car, which was built in 1910 by "Scandia" in Randers. Although only 10 examples were built, the type of car nevertheless served as a model for many of Copenhagen Tramway's later car purchases. The cars were, as shown here, rebuilt during World War II with extended platforms and undercarriage. Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 9 with railcar 141 at Brønshøj (1996)Brønshøj Torv in the old days. The first tram came to Brønshøj Torv on 28 September 1902. The line started from the railway crossing at Nørrebro depot, opposite was the terminus at Brønshøj Kro. The line signs were white with blue text and in the evening the trams carried a white and a blue lantern. In November 1902 the line was given the number 9. Lunding's elegant combination of platform and central entrance trams aroused great admiration among experts. Later, the trams were converted to permanent conductors and the original elegance was lost. Line 7 was converted to bus operation on 25 April 1971. Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 8 with railcar 511 (1993)Line 8 was best known for its "old" trams, but in the last six months of the line's life it was favoured with architect Lunding's famous bogie motor cars, converted to a permanent conductor and without a sidecar. Folkeviddet had its own special relationship with line 8, and the daily newspaper "Politiken" often reported on the back page "At tønke sig" about conductor Fodklang and conductor Strop. Perhaps this is also why in the summer you can experience line 8 on rubber wheels in "Tivoli".
