The cavalcade was initiated by Minister of Culture Brian Mikkelsen.

In the years 1953-56, the line ran for a single day in December as a collection vehicle for the daily newspaper Social-Demokraten.

Postcard: Skjoldenæsholm standard gauge with railcar 575 at Tobaksmarken (2000) In the years 1930-41, Copenhagen Trams and NESA were delivered a total of 118 motor cars and 83 side cars of a type designed by architect Ib Lunding. The very popular type of car was in traffic until 1972, when tram operations in Copenhagen ceased.
At the Skjoldenæsholm Tram Museum, three motor cars and five side cars of this type have been preserved. Among these are motor car no. 575 (KS 1938) and side car no. 1578 (KS 1941), which can be seen in the picture at the Tobeksmarken stop. By Henrik Boye, Sporvejshistorisk Selskab (SHS) -

In the street between the museum's two depots, no. 890 (DÜWAG/Copenhagen Trams 1966) is photographed together with motor car no. 275 (Scandia 1907) and sidecar no. 1460 (Scandia 1920) from Copenhagen Trams. Until 1919, Frederiksberg had its own tram company, Frederiksberg Sporveje, which operated both tram and bus services.
From 1913, when the Strøget route was converted from horse-drawn to motor-bus operation, the company had 12 motor-buses made by De Dion Bouton. The preserved no. 1 is seen in the picture together with a tram train from the company with motor car no. 50 (Larsen 1915) and sidecar no. 78 (Larsen 1913).
