🚃 Tramway Nordhausen (2017)The Nordhausen tramway is operated by Stadtwerken Nordhausen, running on three lines within the city and along the Harzquerbahn to the surrounding countryside of Ilfeld. The track gauge is 1000 mm. After Germany's reunification in 1990, the future of the tram was debated, but it was ultimately decided to keep it. In the following years, the rail network underwent a complete renovation, and new (initially old) vehicles were acquired. On October 3, 1993, a new extension was added, connecting from Theater Square 1.8 kilometers to the eastern part of the city. In 2004, the planned extension of the Harzquerbahn was completed. Tramcar 202 arrives at the Südharzklinik. A Combino Duo leaves the tracks of the Nordhausen tram. Tram 107 and a bus from line A arrive at the Südharzgalerie stop. A train on line 1 departs from Kornmarkt. A Combino is heading toward Parkallee. Tram 107 is moving toward the Südharzklinik. Car 103 reaches the Grimmel stop. A Combino is on Rautenstraße. Tram 103 is heading toward Parkallee. Tram 107 turns into Stolberger Straße. A line of line 10 crosses the Zorge River.By Straßen-und Eisenbahn Deutschland - January 1, 2017.
