Box 15 14 21, 80048 Munich Summer 1961: Long before the construction of the S-Bahn, a line 29 train with railcar 952 (type M 4.65, built in 1959, manufactured by Rathgeber) passes the Mariensäule (Mary's Column) heading for Michaelibad. The Drelacht open-plan car was designated number 2476 from 1972 and decommissioned in 1983. Rail traffic on the Viktualienmarkt, a green and airy market then blessed with trams, in 1927. Line 5, or the "Kohlrabi Express," as our beloved "Five" was sometimes called colloquially, rolls leisurely along its original track towards the west side of the Church of the Holy Spirit.
