Description
The Olomouc public transport system in Czech Moravia is based on a tram network serving the busiest sections – the loop through the city center and several outbound routes. The video presents virtually all the features of the network's engineering design and rolling stock as of 2013: sections of lines on combined (including in the central pedestrian zone) and separate tracks, including elements of the light rail system from the 1980s and 1990s; a geographically unique depot from the late 19th century with an additional fan built in 1984; terminal stations, a transit hub at the main station, and a special roadway layout at stops. All types of Olomouc tram rolling stock are shown – inside and out. Operation of the tram on various sections – speed modes, passing junctions, and turning trains before evening release on the depot's dead-end fan. Passenger navigation systems - stop signs and displays. The video is uploaded in full-screen quality and compressed for easy online viewing. The full running time is provided. The original is available in uncompressed *.mov and *.avi formats, as well as on DVD (in maximum quality).
