New equipment for the Control and Maintenance Centre (2022)In these weeks, Siemens and Aarsleff Rail As are in the process of building and installing a so-called hydraulic lifting street and a huge roof platform for the maintenance of the future light rail trains – equipment that is absolutely vital for the light rail operation. The work platform, located above the workshop trench, will facilitate access for the light rail operator, Metro Service, to the equipment placed on top of the light rail trains. Tram to Ishøj (2025)The day after the tram from Ishøj to Glostrup Nord began operating, I pulled myself together and drove the same route to get a picture of the wonder. It was a bit difficult to steer and photograph at the same time, but never mind.
