Darmstadt Tram - The Route to Arheilgen XXL (2012) The route to Arheilgen of the Darmstadt tram of HEAG mobiTram was extended to Dreieichweg in 2010 and 2011. Previously, the route ended in the Hofgasse turnaround loop. This has since been removed, and the nearby new stop has been renamed Löwenplatz. The new route with three new stops runs almost exclusively in the street plenum of the very narrow Frankfurter Landstraße. At the end, there is a two-track turnaround loop to the west of the street.
The video shows the new route as well as the existing route to the Kranichstein junction. It is used by lines 6, 7, and 8. A special feature of Darmstadt is the express line 6, which operates on weekdays from approximately 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. without stopping at all stations. However, this does not apply to the section of the route shown in the film, where it stops everywhere. At times when line 6 is not running, line 8 runs the route instead.

Tramspotting: Darmstadt Willy-Brandt-Platz (2022) From April 9, 2022, to the end of 2023, Frankfurter Strasse will be closed due to construction work. That's why I drove there the day before despite the heavy rain. Darmstadt Tram - Line 3 via Bismarckstraße XXL (2013) Line 3 of the Darmstadt tram, operated by HEAG mobiTram, is usually the only scheduled line between Luisenplatz and the central station that runs along Bismarckstraße. All other lines use the parallel route on Rheinstrasse instead.
This film shows line 3 on the Bismarckstrasse route on June 2nd, 2013, the last day of operation for the time being. Since June 3, 2013, these recordings have been historical, as Bismarckstrasse has undergone extensive renovation and reconstruction since then, including the construction of a public transport lane and the creation of modern bus stops. Line 3 has not been running on the route since this date, but will probably run to the central station via Rheinstrasse until the end of 2015 (as of publication date).
Railcars of the types ST 13 and ST 14 can be seen.
