Description

A ride along the entire route of tram line 1 in Gorzów Wielkopolski, filmed from the driver's cab, on the Fieldorfa "Nila" - Wieprzyce PKP route. The line runs on the newest section of track built in Gorzów. It opened on July 22, 2023, and is currently the latest tram line in Poland. This will remain in operation until September 2023, when newly constructed tram lines in Toruń, Wrocław, and Kraków are scheduled to open. Over 2 km of new track and three new stops—Rondo Gdańskie, Szarych Szeregów, and Fieldorfa "Nila"—have been added. The route ends with a terminus featuring an inter-track exit, allowing only two-way trams to operate here, rather than a loop. Before reconstruction, the route ended at the Silwana loop on Szarych Szeregów Street. Tram lines 1 and 3 run on the new track. Line 1 covers approximately 10 km with 23 stops, and the route runs on schedule in about 30 minutes. More information is provided in the subtitles displayed in the video (activated by clicking on the bar at the bottom). Gorzów Wielkopolski is the twenty-ninth most populous city in Poland, with 116,000 inhabitants. Electric trams were introduced in 1899, making it one of 15 cities in Poland with its own tram network. The network includes three main tram lines operating during the day, totaling 12.7 km. The film was recorded in August 2023 using a PESA Twist 2015N tram, vehicle number 301. Greetings to the friendly tram driver, and special thanks to Marcin Pejski, Head of the Transportation Dispatch Department at the Municipal Transport Company in Gorzów Wielkopolski Sp. z o.o., for his assistance with the project.

Filmed from the driver's cab, this footage shows a ride along the entire route of tram line 1 in Gorzów Wielkopolski, on the "Nila" - Wieprzyce PKP route. The line runs on the newest section of track built in Gorzów, which opened on July 22, 2023. Currently, this is the latest tram line in Poland, though that will only be the case until September 2023, when newly built tram lines in Toruń, Wrocław, and Kraków are scheduled to open. Over 2 km of new track and three new stops—Rondo Gdańskie, Szarych Szeregów, and Fieldorfa 'Nila'—have been added. The route doesn't end with a loop but with a junction between the tracks, so only two-way trams can operate here. Tram lines 1 and 3 run on the new track. To the right, we see a white staff building at the former Silwana tram terminus. Line 1 is approximately 10 km long and has 23 stops, with a scheduled journey time of about 30 minutes. Gorzów Wielkopolski is the 29th most populous city in Poland with 116,000 residents. Electric trams have been in use here since 1899. This footage was recorded in August 2023 on a Pesa Twist 2015N tram, vehicle number 301.
