If you travel outside the free tram zone, you will need a myki. You can buy a myki and top up at hundreds of shops, including all 7-Elevens, myki machines at selected stations and stops, premium station ticket offices, and PTV Hubs. You can also use Mobile myki - a digital myki on your Android phone on the Google Wallet app.
Trams depart in 12-minute intervals between 9.30 am and 5 pm daily*
*Trams travel clockwise only. No services on Good Friday and Christmas Day. Alternatively, you can jump on any tram for free within the same City Circle loop. See the map for details.
