Prescription envelope: Copenhagen tram line 5 with railcar 448 (1993)Due to World War II, the construction of the popular bogie type had to be stopped and in 1942 the first scrap cars came onto the streets on lines 2 and 5. The cars were called "spare cars" or "swingpjatter" because of their somewhat rocking ride. Line 5 earned the charming nickname "lortevognen" because of the yellow-brown line color.
