A trip down the ramp to Glostrup Station (2022)

Description

On its trip between Ishøj and Lundtofte, the light rail will stop at a total of six S-train stations, including Glostrup Station, which has required an extraordinary amount of construction work. From the bridge on Søndre Ringvej, the light rail train will be taken all the way down to the station via a long ramp, so that you can easily and quickly change between light rail, S-train and buses.

As I said, it is no easy task to build a ramp of that caliber, but now the work is finally finished, and Per Aarsleff's drone operator, Per Hansen, has documented it in the most beautiful way.

In the video you can e.g. see how Per Aarsleff has made the foundations for the future traffic flow masts, built the light rail alignment on the Ringvejsbroen and on the ramp, where shards have also been laid for the light rail's future tracks. And at the end of the ramp at Glostrup Station you can see that elements have also been built for the future light rail platforms.
