Seattle Streetcar First Hill Line (2023)The First Hill Line in Seattle is unique because it uses hybrid technology and half of the tracks do not have an overhead wire. There are so many trolleybus wires already over the streets and intersections that eliminating one streetcar wire greatly simplifies the catenary network.

"Hi! Congratulations on the great website. I found it by chance when I was looking for something completely different! However, I would like to point out that the NZH Lokaaldienst line from Park Vronesteijn to Scheveningen was standard gauge and ceased in 1958. The map shows part of the Den Haag Malieveld - Leiden station NS line which became the last line of all NZH lines when tram traffic ceased on the evening of November 9, 1961. PS: During a visit to the NZH museum at Leidschevaart a few years ago I met LJP Albers, who has written several books about NZH! (The Amsterdam - Haarlem - Zandvoort and Amsterdam - Waterland lines were meter gauge)"
